Office: WAH 225 Extension: 663 Send me an email Biography Professor Gregory Gilbertson is a former police officer with the cities of Atlanta and LaGrange, Georgia. His assignments included SWAT, Stakeout Squad Detective, Superior Court Investigator and School Resource Officer. In addition, he has instructed hundreds of criminal justice courses for Saint Martin’s University, Brandman University, and South Puget Sound Community College. Professor Gilbertson has twice deployed to active war zones in Afghanistan and Iraq as an International Police Trainer. He served for 13 months in Kabul as a Senior Mentor and NATO Liaison to the commander of the Afghan National Police Academy. He also served in Baghdad and Basrah as a curriculum specialist and deputy commander of the Basrah Training College. Professor Gilbertson is a private investigator specializing in criminal defense casework. He also works with attorneys nationwide as an expert witness in police practices, self defense, and use of force.
